Valley of Flowers traces the experiences of a young man, during his 6-day trek over the Dhauladhar Range. The story follows him as
he plays golf in the wild, in attempting to reach the mighty Mount Kailesh — the spiritual abode of the Blessed, Lord Shiva.
The Storyline? After qualifying for the Open Championship in the UK, Nicolas Kumar interrupts his father when telling him the good news. For this slight infraction, the 17-year-old Indian youth is sent to play some extreme golf in the mountains — in this case, the Indian Himalayas.
The story has a genuine geographic location in Northern India, and here, here and here are some photos near the actual spot.
The Kundalini Plateau (Book 2) will handle the 2nd and 3rd holes, and be of similar length. The other titles in this novel series — The Indrahar Pass; Kuarsi; The Valley of the Gods; The River Ravi; and Bharmour — will handle 3 holes each. These short novels (approx. 50,000 words, or 180 pages) will appear 1 year thereafter, in order.
